Filipino Community in Denmark Puts on Musical Showcase for Independence Day

Copenhagen, 09 June 2018 - The Filipino Community in Denmark (FILCOM-Denmark) celebrated the 120th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence with a showcase of musical talent.

Filipino singing contest veterans Vanessa Pampilo (X Factor Denmark 2018), Reynaldo Ramoga (Idol Sverige 2014), and Glenz Dela Cruz Nielsen (MegaVoice Denmark 2014 winner) headlined the program, which also featured dance numbers, raffle draws, and a sampling of Filipino fare. 

Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jahzeel Abihail G. Cruz represented the Philippine Embassy in Oslo, Norway at the event. 

FILCOM-Denmark is the umbrella organization representing various Filipino groups in Denmark. Filipinos living and working in the Nordic country number some 12,000. END
