The overseas voter registration period in the Nordic region began on 1 December 2016 and the Philippine Embassy in Oslo commends Mr. Lloyd Ramirez for being the first registrant from the Nordic region to register for the 2019 elections. Overseas Voter Registration for the 13 May 2019 Elections will begin on 1 December 2016 and end on 30 September 2018. Section 6 of the Resolution states that: "All citizens of the Philippines, who are at abroad or will be abroad during the thirty (30) day voting period, at least eighteen (18) years of age on the day of the elections and not otherwise disqualified by law, may register." Pursuant to COMELEC Resolution No. 10161, the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) of the Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV) hereby order the deactivation of registration records of overseas voters in in the Nordics for their failure to vote in the 2013 and 2016 National Elections.
