UPDATE: Per CAB Advisory dated 13 May 2020, all disembarking airline crew members will not undergo the same testing procedure as all other returning Filipinos. They will be subject to usual screening procedure and will not undergo swab test. The full text of the latest CAB Advisory is available below.
Further to our COVID-19 Public Advisory No. 25 on the Omnibus Guidelines for the Quarantine and Testing Procedures for All Overseas Filipinos and Foreign Nationals Arriving in the Philippines During the Covid-19 Pandemic issued by the Department of Health, attached below are lists of facilities approved for Stringent Quarantine and Mandatory Quarantine of overseas Filipinos and foreign nationals arriving in the Philippines.`
For the distinction between Stringent Quarantine and Mandatory Quarantine, please refer to the aforementioned Omnibus Guidelines posted with COVID-19 Public Advisory No. 25.
The Embassy also wishes to inform all that according to the Advisory of the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) dated 11 May 2020: “For returning OFWs, the cost of quarantine accommodations shall be shouldered by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) for land-based OFWs, and by the local manning agency and/or Maritime Industry Authority for sea-based OFWs. For non-OFWs, namely overseas Filipinos (OFs) returning home, they can choose from among the approved quarantine facilities at their own cost.”
