The Embassy wishes to inform the public that in light of efforts to prevent the entry of SARS-CoV-2 variants from other countries and the further rise of cases, the number of inbound international passengers/arrivals in the Philippines will be limited to only One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) per day, and the entry of Foreign Nationals and Returning Overseas Filipinos who are non-OFWs is temporarily suspended beginning 0001H of 20 March 2021 until 19 April 2021, except the following:
- Holders of 9(e) (diplomatic) visas;
- Medical repatriation and their escort/s duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs (DFA-OUMWA) or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA);
- Distressed ROFs duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs (DFA-OUMWA); and
- Emergency, humanitarian, and other analogous cases approved by the National Task Force on COVID-19
This advisory supersedes all previous advisories by the Embassy on entry restrictions and visa rules for foreign nationals traveling to the Philippines, particularly COVID-19 Public Advisory No. 51.
