12 November 2019 – Faith, music, and the resilience of the Filipino are the key messages that the Male Ensemble Philippines delivered during their tour of Europe for 2019. Rev. Fr. Dennis Cagantas said that in performing for various Filipino communities in Spain, Italy, France, Sweden, and Norway, the Male Ensemble Philippines hoped to bring world-class Filipino talent and raise awareness on the commemoration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines, which will be marked in 2021. During her remarks, Ambassador Batoon-Garcia informed the audience about many Filipino international artists who continue to inspire and make their fellow Filipinos both at home and abroad proud.

The Male Ensemble Philippines is an emerging choir with members coming from different award-winning choral groups including the Philippine Madrigal singers. Details on the choir are available in their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/menphilippines/. END
