11 December 2019, Oslo - The holidays are indeed coming, and oh what more fun it could be, with the warmth and good cheer of a Filipino Christmas party. That’s exactly what the Philippine Embassy presented with its celebration of Paskong Pinoy (Filipino Christmas) amongst friends and guests from Norwegian government agencies, business groups, civil society, travel industry, hotel and restaurant industry, media, expatriates, and the diplomatic corps.

The list to a perfect Filipino party were checked: Philippine traditional dishes prepared by Filipino caterers in Oslo, cocktails drinks using Philippine spirits and liqueurs, good ol’ karaoke, and a fun photobooth. Throughout the night, guests were also entertained with the party mixes of a disc jockey and the Filipino pop and rock songs belted out by Filipino singer Rheanne Guevarra-Lindeberg. To cap it all, the Paskong Pinoy was filled with boisterous laughter, groovy and graceful dance moves, wacky poses, and happy memories of the hospitality and generosity of Filipinos. END
