On 13-15 October 2017, the Philippine Embassy in Oslo conducted a three-day consular outreach service in Reykjavik, Iceland, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate headed by Ms. Maria Priscilla Zanoria, Consul, a.h., and the Filipino Community.
The three-member team from Oslo PE was composed of Finance Officer Marcelo Cunanan, Administrative Officer Manuel S. Moran, Jr., and Attaché Eva Margie G. San Miguel. The consular team processed ePassport applications, civil registrations, and provided notarial and authentication services. The mobile outreach endeavors to bring the Embassy’s consular services closer to Filipinos residing in different Scandinavian countries.
The consular outreach was also an opportunity for Filipinos abroad to reacquire their Philippine citizenship through the Philippine Citizenship Retention and Re-acquisition Law of 2003 (RA 9225).
