Philippine Embassy meets with Filipino community and  extends consular services in Bergen

Aside from meeting with some Filipino community members in Bergen, the Embassy extended consular services for Filipinos who have otherwise been unable to travel to Oslo due to COVID-19 travel restrictions

11 September 2021, Bergen – The Philippine Embassy in Oslo met with the Filipino community and delivered consular services in Bergen, as part of its efforts to reach out to more Filipinos in Norway amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. 

With COVID-19 measures in place, the Embassy extended consular services including passport renewal, dual citizenship, and overseas voter registration. The Embassy also met with members of the Filipino community including Filipino students, researchers, and young professionals who have made  Bergen, Norway, their second home, and had an engaging discussion on the consular and Assistance-to-Nationals services of the Embassy, updated guidelines on traveling back to the Philippines, and the situation of Filipinos in Norway during the pandemic.
